Question contract responsibility

This contractor hired me as a subcontractor along with other subs according to their trades. Contractor says subs are responsible to send him a contract for the work to be done. I have always send out proposals, once accepted, I sign an agreement contract made out by the General Contractor. My question is "who is responsible for making this contract a sub or general contractor?"

Contrat Responsibility

He wants your company to "Draw up your own terms"? Usually it's the other way around. If this is the case it would actually be better for you, instead of them having a one sided contract with you.
But it’s usually them that will have a contract in place. Hope this helps
