Concrete Forms

Hello
I am a carpenter not a computer guy so please bear with me. I do all kinds of renos and building. I have a small contract to build some concrete steps down beside a residence. It needs a small retaining wall approx. 18 " high on either side. Does anyone have any experience doing stairs and retaining walls monolithically? I was just going to have both outside forms standing and use those to suspend riser forms. Strategic bracing and inside forms cut to stair shape. Any suggestions or should I just do it in 2 pours?

Re: Concrete Forms

New to computers huh? Well treat the forum like a bar or a favorite lunch or breakfast place that all the trades hang out in. First you go to the intro section & introduce yourself. Its also cool if we know where you are really located at (hint hint profile) are you in Reno Minnesota, Texas, Idaho, DC, Indiana or Nevada.

After that, you look around & make friends with the group that might answer your question - kinda of like the Concrete area / guys, (and maybe show that your a great guy help others out on the way over) and they can then use your location & tell you more than you ever thought you needed to know (maybe)

So fix the profile & welcome to CT

Oh & I would do it in 2 pours, but I generally sub out the concrete work so take it for what it is worth
