Hi all, this is the first site i've found for contractors. A little about me, Im 50 + (cough cough) English and have been in the states for the past 5 years and live in Buffalo, Kentucky. My primary trade in Uk was painting and decorating, but since ive been here, with the shortage of work in the area ( and as i dont advertise) ive graduated to home remodelling (add ons etc) so had to brush up on my plumbing etc. The only thing i've really learned thats been new to me over here is vinyl

This site is great i may add and from the posts ive read quite a few knowledgeable guys on here.

As for the area i live in i have found some of the local shall i call them contractors? no maybe bodge merchants leave dismal work that has to be redone. One thing i hate following one of them and trying to please an already disgruntled HO.

Still enough of my rambling, once again great site and hope to get to know a few of you and somewhere to ask a question on something that i may come up against that i cannot solve.
