Bosch Tankless

I have been reading many of the statements regarding the Bosch Tankless units and I am quite surprised. I have been installing Bosch for about five years and have had no bad experiences with them at all. In fact I do go out on installs from other plumbing outfits and have found that the major reason for complaints is an installation issue. Many plumbers apparently do not have a calibrated CO2 analyzer. Once the installation issue is taken care of, the unit runs fine.

The key is to follow the instructions in the manual and proper plumbing and gas codes. Then check your gas pressure and CO2 levels. I haven't had one fail yet and there are over 30 installed in my area that I have personally installed or corrected the install.

Re: Bosch Tankless

Why are you checking the Carbon Dioxide levels? Why would you not be checking Carbon Monoxide levels?

Re: Bosch Tankless

How are these units vented? I wanted to put one in my house but we don't have natural gas and I didn't really have time to figure out if I could put one in somehow as my wife is not a big fan of no hot water.
