Belated Introduction

I don't remember how I found this forum, but I'm sure glad that I did. When I registered in Dec/05, I kinda fell right in with you guys and gals, just soaking up all the valuable info and lots of good laughs too I was having so much fun that I forgot to formally introduce myself and give you a bit of background. So here goes: I was in the coin operated amusement machine business for most of my life ( inherited dear old dad's company) Went thru alot of ups and downs over the years, but always loved doing handyman stuff around the house. Got downsized out of a pretty good route manager position in '03, and decided to get into a completely new career... Home Inspector. Took a 150 hr. community college course and got a certificate, opened a business, did ok for a year but wasn't happy. I wanted to get down and dirty and and work with my hands instead of my "alleged" brain. Started another business doing home improvements, and have now found my niche in life. I'm learning every day and starting to get pretty good at flooring, painting, plumbing, etc. I've hooked up with 3 contractor friends of mine(mentors) and keep busy almost every day. My goal is to eventually know this industry in and out and become a successfull G.C. and live happily ever after Thanks for reading this...Hope to share many quality hours here.......Ron Schenker

Re: Belated Introduction

Tom, I promise, no more Brokeback Mountain comments. However, I was thinking of a good name for the sequel...but all my choices are a little too gross for this forum.
Any ideas?
