About Me

So Nathan PM'd me asking for me to tell y'all about myself.
Nathan if your reading this I tried to respond to your message, but I don't have AIM and didn't see other options.
I am self employed, I run a single man (with certain exceptions) consultant firm dealing in Search Engine Optimization and Marketing.
Some of my clients include Attorneys, Contractors, Musicians and Artists.
I usually work with existing web pages to optimize them for google, and also work within a given sector to promote marketing initiatives.
I did not join this forum to get clients, and as such I'd rather remain anonymous, but I do enjoy advising people with their issues.
Feel free to PM me or post a thread in the marketing forum and i will be glad to help in any way I can.

Re: About Me

Well, it's up to Nathan,
but I still don't see that
you have a place here.

Aren't there any "consultant's"
forums (fora?)???
There sure seem to be more
than enough of you these days.

Neo, I disagree. I think that this forum is about exchanging ideas and advice, etc. and that the hubub we sometimes get into is about people trying to partake in certain activities having negative effect on honest, hard working contractors. Are you worried that Murphy'll use info here at you're (our) loss? What's the problem?

Murphy- welcome, I look forward to your thoughts.

Murphy- welcome, I look forward to your thoughts.
I'm sure that there are plenty of
other HO's who would like to share their
thoughts as well.
Maybe some of them work at HD, so....
What about lawyers?
Accountants?
See my point?

Kovak,Concretemasonry, and some others
who are here may be "consultants",
but they have an industry base/background.
That's the distinction for me.

Re: About Me

I guess, but wouldn't it be cool to have a contract lawyer visit this site? And why not a cpa specializing in contractor issues? Maybe Nathan should hire them for us.

Re: About Me

More of an ADVERTISING/SOLICITATION opportunity than an "Idea/Experience Exchange Forum" for you here. NOT what CT is about. But it IS Nathans Child.

Naw, man. This guy said specifically that he prefers to remain anonymous. How could he get any business that way?

No that one's another story,
it's about things that smell bad.

Re: About Me

Welcome to the site Murphy. How is marketing and advertising not part of contracting? I have read thru some other posts by Damion and learned a whole mess of information which I would have otherwise not found. So please stay and inform those of us that don't know everything.

Re: About Me

Hello Murphy,

Welcome to the site. If you really know SEO give me a ring. There are too many self-proclaimed SEO website developers who don't deliver. A contractor friend recently spent 8K for a website that was suppose to be optimized. It turned out the web developer had minimal experience.
A guy who knows SEO can save people thousands. Good luck and I can't wait to see some posts.

Re: About Me

Welcome to the site Murpy, especially if Nathan took the time out to contact you for a bio personally.

We have had several posters who were more into business coaching, consulting, marketing and SEO in the past several seasons and the majority of them have been an asset, capable of walking the fine line of disperssing useful information, without spamming endlessly to promote theiir business ventures.
