General Grabber AT are the best bang for your buck.
The oe bridgestones that came on my chevy 2500 are an absolute joke. 17,000 miles and they are about shot. Even when they were new last winter they were terrible. I got stuck several times in 4 wheel drive on pavement. I am getting ready to buy a new 2500 diesel and am going to ask the dealership to swap the tires out for a better set.

Re: Truck Tires

The type of tire you need will vary by driving habits, type of vehicle, powertrain and of course the demand of traction by terrain. I personally swear by Cooper Discovery M+S for awesome traction, good ride and quiet on the road. My D-Max's only get 20-24k out of tires and that is with 6k rotations. But i tow alot with them, carry alot of weight and i have a heavy foot at times.

That's what I run...BFG - AT's. Get a lot of miles out of em too. Didn't get em at Costco though. Last time I checked they were more expensive there. I'll check their price next time I need new ones.

My friend swears by them. If I had a "normal" sized rim I would have went with them.(70,000 miles plus I think) As is I went with 2 new Toyos to keep the tires matched(the"old" only has 7/32s wear.) and they edge out pro-comps slightly from what I've been told.

I heard bad about cooper (some of there styles are involved in law suits)but if others have had good luck who am I to argue.
