It would also be heavy, and be very slick, which would cause loads to shift more.

I saw a guy today that lays a 4x8 sheet of blue foam in the bottem of his truck bed- it pads the doors that he was carrying, and makes for a fairly nonslip surface. the foam gets pretty scratched up, but for carrying delicate cargo it's a pretty good idea.

i think it's a SUPER idea. in fact, show us pics of the install and then show us some follow up pics after you drove it for a few days.
i can't wait, if it turns out well for you, it might start a trend in the bed liner industry. heck, screw paint, we could tile the entire outside of our vehicles with little 1x1 glass mosaics.

Re: Tile Floor In Truck?

There is a guy here In Indy that put out/In door carpet on vehicles. He has a full size van with Black carpet with a Pink Floyd design on it. He also has an Caddy with a maroon carpet in it. Maybe you 2 should hook up and try the tile thing??

Re: Tile Floor In Truck?

forget the tile, weld in a piece of 4x4 angle across the bed just in front of the tailgate, lay in some weed control fabric, sand and pavers, don't forget to plate compact it
