Powering A 1.5hp 240v Motor
Hi! I need to power a 1.5hp 240v 50Hz motor while driving/not driving. I've looked at inverters from Xantrex but I'm not sure if they are the right option. Should I just purchase a portable genset? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Powering A 1.5hp 240v Motor
Maybe I should clarify myself...I have a 240v, 50hz single phase motor that needs to be powered while driving and preferably while parked. I was looking at some other threads and rotary inverters were mentioned; however, I presuppose that you need to leave the engine running. The other viable setup besides a portable genset (don't really have the space where to put one except under the box of the truck) that I came across in the threads was an inverter with a deep cycle battery but someone mentioned that this setup is subject to problems. What do think? Any feedback will be more than appreciated. Thanks!
