But some people have got them as cheap as $38k and some people have not got a penny off and paid $50k. You just have to find a good dealer who is willing to do a deal.
I hope that $50K F150 was a King Ranch with a factory installed 6 inch lift with 35's sitting on 20 inch rims??? Heck $50K MSRP would be for a new King Ranch F350 Powerstroke 4x4.

In 2006 my little brother bought a brand new crew cab 4x4 F150 XLT for just under $30K, cash. Since then he's put another $20K into it though. He got a good deal on it though as the dealer was a kid he grew up with.

In 2003 my Dad went shopping for a PT Cruiser GT turbo. The dealer gave him two options. 0% interest for 3 years at sticker or 6% interest for 3 years with rebates. He did the math in his head and told the dealer that he would rather pay Chrysler than a bank. The dealer asked what he figured and it was $300 more for the interest loan.

The other day did a tree repair on a huge new roof I did last Winter. The home owner was there and we started talking cars. Him and his wife were there and they both had Toyota's with dealer plates from Kansas. In the past couple years he sold a Chrysler and Toyota dealership and really cashed in. Rumor has it the new house is $2.8 million. When we started talking about his 12 car garage he said he had a 69 Camaro, 69 Landcruiser, and a 83 Landcruiser (both his wifes and both low mile orginals). He went on to say last month he bought two "new" cars. One was a 4 mile 06 Ford GT and the other was a 0 mile 08 Viper. He didn't say what it took to get the GT but he said that the sticker on the Viper was $95K and he paid $64K for it from a dealership. He said nobody knows this but if your part of the Chrysler friends and family plan (he sold the Chrysler dealership to his brother) you get $20K off sticker on the Viper. Not sure how he got the other $11K off sticker but he did!

Guess he sold the dealerships at the perfect time. My mechanic has a customer who's wife sold 10 Toyota dealerships a few years ago. He's a lawyer and is rich on his own!!! The addition on there home a few years ago was said to cost $1.7 million.

BTW, I only buy used work vehicles.

Re: The Money Game

There's a Platinum at Paradise in Moscow. That's a sweet truck. Makes sense for Ford to build it since the Mark LT was discontinued.

They do still make the Mark LT but it a mexico only order like the LOBO. Cant say i really ever liked the Mark LT because of the stupid looking tailights and front end. But they def made the right choice upgradeing it to the Platinum. I was gonna hold out for the 6.2 raptor f150 but still no word on date of release as of yet. The 5.4 model should be out really soon.
