Re: Highest Milage

I retired my 87 GMC 1/2 ton with 325,000 on it, and converted it into a hunting truck, I still own it. I retired my 94 GMC 1/2 ton with 290,000 on it, it is now the errand truck for my chassis business, and has 349,000 on it. My current truck is a 03 GMC 1/2 ton, it has 68,000 on it, but may get retired early, my wife wants the truck cause it has heated leather seats, and I am thinking about downsizing to a Canyon to save money on gas.

How do you put that much mileage on a truck in 8 years ? That comes out to around 4000 miles a month, thats a lot of driving.

Re: Highest Milage

540,000 miles on my 1993 Chevy Suburban 1/2 ton. Upon getting to the 500,000 mark Chevrolet was so pleased they gave me a coupon for a free lube-oil-and filter redemable at any dealer.

I would have gotten more miles out of that truck had it not been stolen in June of this year in Kent, Washington.

I have two 1999 E250's with well over 300,000 miles each. They came from a magazine distributorship, were kept indoors and maintained weekly by a mobile mechanic.

Good vans

Re: Highest Milage

I was working with a guy that has an f-150 with over 450000 miles.
I know a painter with a dodge van on which the odomiter has rolled over at least 4 times, so at least 400,000 miles.
