My question after this statement is this............. How do YOU look at the end of the day making an Appraisal/Salescall at the end of a busy and, I will assume, dirty work day!?

Without the obligatory "wash behind the ears" and re-dress.

What if you pull up in a 2002 Kia Spectra four door sedan with two car seats and a dent on the side wheel well?

so now that I got the pictures to work. What do you think. Showing up in the van compared to the pickup for an estimate. Does it make a difference?

Re: Fixin Up The Old Van !!!

The van does'nt look bad from a distance, get soem hub caps or call a junk yard and get some take off aluminum rims and it'd go far to dress it up a bit, but that's just my opinion. Until you get some decent looking rims, i'd stick with the truck for inital apperances, because the van when i first saw it told me, "hmmm, another one of those guys"

just being honest so you get something from this.

For shure some rims on the van otherwise I think it's fine. May also want to look into some HD 10ply tires those look a little squished.

Looks nice to me. Great color. Hubcaps will set it off. Can't hurt your business IMO.

Van doesn't look to bad. It all depends on who your clients are.

I have a 97 ford 15 pass van body in great condition. I have had no problems at all with the engine or tranny. Only problem the vans in Maryland. I don't have pics but same van same color same body condition www.hagerstown-airport-shuttle.com

The tires are blue cause we painted the van ourselves in the shop and never covered them up. Damn overspray!! It was my first paintjob i have ever done. Turned out pretty good imo. Total cost for paint job was under 300 bucks. not bad at all! Right now van is currently getting alot of work done to it. Had mechanic go threw it completely. costing me about 1500 but everything is going to be perfect on it. should be good for another 5 years!! To me its worth keeping the old ones and putting a little money in it. Alot better than high payments! I hate payments!

Re: Fixin Up The Old Van !!!

I would've gone for the same color on both, just to have some sort of brand recognition for your prospective customers when they see you on the road. But, to each their own. Other than that, I think they look great.
