Re: Cabovers Pros And Cons
The Ford LCF is light duty, 14,500GVW and 19,500GVW. Very nice trucks, best value for the dollar in the cabover market. Unfortunately Ford doesn't put a lot of money into marketing the LCF.

Re: Cabovers Pros And Cons
We have a LCF. Its been in shop more than we've used it. International is scrapping the engine because all of the problems. Ford may use their V6 diesel from Europe. Their already thinking about putting this engine in the F150

Re: Cabovers Pros And Cons
I'm surprised to hear that. A landscape contractor in Spokane replaced most of their mowing trucks w/ LCFs at the beginning of the season. They switched from Isuzu. So far I haven't heard anything bad. I'll send him an email and see what he says now that he's had them for a few months.

Re: Cabovers Pros And Cons
cabovers worry me when it comes to safety. I've seen plenty of fatals or near fatals involving semi's and cabovers... and the result is the cab coming off the body in a collision. Whatever you guys choose drive safety and defensively... the cab-overs are not a abrams tank or bradley fighting vehicle...more like a armored hummer.
