Question Anyone got an Auto Crane on their truck?

I've been looking at a "new" truck that has among its features an Auto Crane 2703MR. I downloaded the data sheet and manual from Auto Crane's site, but didn't find an answer for a question I have.
If anyone here has used one, you 'll probably know way more about it than I do right now.

No, I don't have one
However, what is your question that wasn't answered in the manual - or is the true question who has one?

My toner came with the cheap HF one on it. I wish it wasn't on there it gets in the way all the time. What ever you pick up with it has to have a lift point or you need a sling. It is easier just to call a couple guys over to help lift.

I know a few guys who have the hydrolic set ups with elec winches and they love them. I use to have a small hand built crane on the bed of an old truck i had and it worked OK. It could pick up 1k with no issues but i didnt have any outriggers on the truck so swinging the load around could be a real hand full at times.
