Any One Have An 03 GMC Savana 3500 Cargo

I need help with this.
Found a great deal on one of these.
$9,300.00
24000 miles
It's the Pro package, with power everything,Tow package, leather
Tool Bins and 3 weatherguard roof racks
Excellent shape inside and out.
It also has the panals on the sides of the van that open for access to tools.
I dident even know they were there until he showed me.
Heres my question...those panal's from what he said, have to be opened from the inside of the van, which kind of defeats the purpous. You have to get to each one and pull some levers to get it open.I'm wondering if thier just broken??
When you pressThe power locks to lock ,those thing's lock. Why would they lock if you cant open them from outside?

I have 3 of the Express versions, same year. I'm guessing that you have tripped the child safety latches, I used to do it all of the time. Look at the edge of the doors and there will be this little switch. Move it into the correct position and put 2 layers of aluminum tape over it or drill it and shoot a #4 screw into it. Final answer.

BTW there's a recall on the seatbelts and an under the hood fuse block cover.

Those switchs are for the panals??or the doors?
So your saying those panals should open with the power lock switch??
Thanks for the heads up on the recalls.

I could be wrong, and I don't own that van, but I remember seeing somewhere that the panels can be opened from the keyless entry remote with a push of a button.

Now that makes more sense then climbing in the van and opening the hatches.

If equiped you can open them with the keyless remote. I was looking at one last year and thought it was a novel idea, and there was a seperate button on the remote for each "hatch" door. The only problem I see up here in ice and snow land that I was leery about was the "hatch" doors freeezing and not being able to get to what I needed. I have enough trouble keeping the regular door seals siliconed up so they won't freeze shut.

Probably the child latch. Good price, buy it.

I use the Savanah 3500 cut-away with a low box. I've driven everything out there and this combo is unbeatable.
