wood roof shingle/shake nailer?

Recommendations on a nailer/stapler for roof shingle/shakes. I have a Senco 1/2"crown stapler, witch I use on sidewall shingles, but get enough cracking to give me doubts about using on a roof.

I am going to check out the cedar bureau site, to study up.

Any preference on particular guns?

Thanks
Andrew

We have a Pasload 3/16 crown stapler that works great for shakes, takes up to 1 3/4 or better. Senco makes a decent 1/4" crown up to 1 1/2"
