Will NV83 Shoot Siding Nails

Anyone have any experience using 15 degree plastic inserted or wire collated siding nails in a coil framer, like an Hitachi NV83?

I can't imagine why they wouldn't work but the Bostitch siding nails at Lowes only list siding nailers.

Thanks, Bob

The NV83A2 runs .099-.131 which is a thicker diameter compared to a siding nailers which run .090-.099. This may lead to some splitting because it is thicker than average.
