Dont ever wear toolbelt so its where ever I put it last, two hammers actually, a framing hammer and a smaller hammer.

Put mine in loop on the back of the right side pocket of my Diamond Back belt. It takes a while to get used to but I like it now.

Kept it in my back, but my brother convinced me to change to my side. I guess it can break your back if you fall backwards. Don't know how often it happens but it's easier for me to keep it at my side as well.

I do both, not sure why. Biggest problem I have with it on the side is the claws slowly eat through the nail pouch and then I have to duct tape it.

I keep it in the exposed buttcrack portion of my butt. It serves a dual purpose of hiding the crack and no one ever borrows my hammer.

For Carpentry work, in a standard loop:
