lol. it was expensive. i should use it more often than I do. but i gotta keep it.

i'm just the kind of person that if i need to buy something for one job and it may not get used again for a while, I end up buying it. not in all cases but a lot of cases. good to have an arsenal of tools to tackle any job.

I posted the owners manual for all to see. As I said before it is a Very Dangerous Tool. The nail/stud is driven by the charge and not by a piston driven charge like the newer tools on the market today. I bet that this tool might even be illegal to use in some places.

I used one on a commercial job, putting up 12ga. track for a wall and I shot into the bottom of a 3/4" thick flange of a steel I-beam and a 1/4" of the pin stuck through
I was wearing ear plugs and it still hurt and my wrist felt like I was shooting a hand held howitzer

I think it's illegal in a lot of places, At least wherever OSHA rules are followed.

It was killing people, It's basically a handgun that shoots nails instead of bullets.

You have a .22 use that, it will be a lot quieter than that thing

But I could just say I was using a tool when the cops come... Then I could show them how it shoots nails into concrete.

I wish I could use my .22 but I am too close to other houses. And my .22 sounds like a 9MM and even the subsonic .22 rounds are very loud. I might just have to get a pellet gun....

I had the same powder driver about 15 years ago. I was shooting PT 2x4s into an old brick home for an add on. The nail went threw the brick wall, bounced off something in the room and stuck in the ceiling.

Mine is a snapjack, it's red with a green handle. Noone has ever seen this thing, but every new laborer I've hired has gone looking for it.
