Re: The Tool You Hate Most

Oh, and to add further, it's not quite a tool but it would have to be the jobsite radio. When I work for someone else and they listen to either R&B (I'm talking the modern type) or Country it does bad things to me. Makes me want to take a running leap into a wood chipper.

I think ya got some VERY bad advice on cutting Hardie. Me thinks common sense woulda told ya it wouldn't work. A knife using the score and snap method would even be better than that.

My personal least favorite tool is any hand powered screwdriver - all you old guys, I'm sure, understand. You know BC (before cordless).

I hate my shovels and all my digging tools. If they are out that means I'm digging, and I hate digging!

This one is easy.
Cats Paw

Big Red's Hole Hawg with a 1 1/2" ship auger bit. When it catches your pant leg you just know its going to get worst before it gets better.

Re: The Tool You Hate Most

I hate using my jig saw or saws all. Sometimes I'm ok with using them but usually a sawsall means you're having to do some crappy ass demo work. and the jigsaw is sometimes ok to use but most of the time sucks cuz ur working with something small or just in a tight place

Re: The Tool You Hate Most

Gotta be the saws all for me too. Buddy of mine is a damn surgeon with the thing, but not me. Most of the time I think I'd be better off using explosives, there would be less mess and the result would probably be cleaner looking.

Re: The Tool You Hate Most

I might also add the wheel barrow to my list. Pushing concrete up a hill in a wheelbarrow is not my idea of fun, neither is shoveling it back in after I go butt up catching it on a surveyors peg.
