tapco crooked bending

hi ya'll. yes i am a virgin so be very gentle with me and respect me in the morning.
here's my deal, i have an older tapco 10' 6" brake that bends less angle in the middle above the handles and tighter towards each end. i know the best fix is a new one. well, i am semi retired and don't think i want to replace it because i don' use it as often as before. generally i just smooth the bend with a little hand action. i have replaced the vinyl strip and have adjusted the clamps thinking maybe the coil stock was sliding from the clamps. it does look to me that the hinge and pin may be worn. anyone have a suggestion (other than buy a new one) to cure this problem ie; replacement parts, etc. any feedback would be appreciated.

Call whoever in your area sells TAPCO and ask for the number for the TAPCO rep. That what we do and he usually stops out an tunes up our brake for us at no charge even supplies the parts. One time we broke a an arm, and he was on the job site in an hour to replace it.
