I once used it to lube a M-2 HB machine gun. Flames were shooting out the sides four feet.

I prefer to just light it up 'cause it looks cool.

An ex-girlfriend made a pan of brownies that were so hard a sharp knife couldn't cut them. I went to my truck, got the cordless recip saw out, chucked a metal cutting blade in it, & liberated the brownies.

Soon after, I liberated myself from the crazy dame.

I've used a hammer driven into the side of a stud to either pull up or give my self an extra step up from time to time. Sucks being a 5'7" framer...

I've used a cordless drill with a small bit to drill through my blackened left thumb nail to relieve some pressure...

Used the wifey's rolling pin to put down vinyl sheet flooring in a small bathroom.

And she'll never know unless one of you rats me out!

A sharp small bit will drill in with fingers fairly easy into fingernails, can't imagine having a drill doing it.

Heated up needle will burn a quick small hole through as well.

Re: Strangest Thing Done With A Tool/materials

I had a wood stove being installed in a new house. He had the pipe stacked from the basement up through the middle of the house ready to go into the attic. The guy says, "you mind if I use my 22." Hell, I didn't know what he was talking about. I said sure. He goes to his van and brings in his .22 long rifle and shoots a hole through the roof, from the basement up through the center of the pipe. Not cool. But it worked and he had the hole cut in the roof in no time without going into the attic.

I'm pretty certain that if he tried that in certain parts of Chicago, there would be return fire.

There was some fellow in Sedalia, MO that used his .22 rifle to create a hole for the cable wire he was trying to run through an exterior wall.

The bullet made a hole in that wall lickety-split, and it also made a hole in his wife on the other side of another wall.

Sadly, Patsy Long of Missouri died a short time later.

I learned my lesson on that one, I was up at a firend's cottage for Canada day. No corkscrew to be found so I told me friend's wife I would drill it out. Took it inside my SUV and started to drill with a 1/2" twist. Well I guess I leaned too hard half way through and rammed the cork inside the bottle showering myself and the inside of my brand new vehicle with red wine.
