Sooo... I Got Some Stuff The Other Day.

I wonder if I can get a "you suck" over this one.

So the Bristol night race, sponsored by Irwin, was a couple of weeks ago.

My wife's friend (works for Turner at their Nascar website) said she had some time to kill, the Sunday after the race, before she had to catch her flight back to ATL.

We had a good time visiting and she told me all about having fun at Bristol, including a ride in the pace car during the race.

Then...

Quote(wife's friend):
Brian, you know Irwin sponsored the race, don't you? I know you like tools and if I don't get rid of some of this leftover give-away stuff I'll have to ups it back to ATL, would you like a tote bag full of tools?

Quote (me): Mmm, free tools [drool].

Free s*** list:

1) 4402017 18" dual compartment tote bag
1) m4441n chisel
1) m44434n chisel
1) m44412n chisel
1) 1773465 15" handsaw
2) 24035 7-1/4" carbide tipped ripping circ. saw blades
2) 4935555 7-1/4" carbide tipped metal cutting circ. saw blades
1) 4935098 12" groove lock pliers
1) 4935581 5" locking pliers
1) 1119 10 pc bolt extractor kit
2) 3041003 3pc wood bore set
1) 10231 #1 unibit
2) 4935448 3/16" sds masonry bit
1) 2084100 pack of 5 utility knife blades.

All told about $250.00 of shiny new stuff.

(This isn't exactly what each give away kit contained because she had 2 and kept one for a relative and we did a little swapping.)

You Suck.

I have one of those chisels. Nice tool that is between a cheap "disposable" chisel and a real nice wood working chisel.

Nice. My luck usually goes the complete opposite. Someone would be outside staling s*** out of my truck while I was visiting.
