I was thinking more along the lines of the Armstrong Sno-Thrower. It breaks my heart watching her trudge through the snow carrying firewood.

Good Luck

Re: Snow Shovels

I buy really nice snow shovels in June for a buck or two at garage sales. Being a military town lots of soldiers are moving to their new station and it might be some place whre they won't see snow for 4 years. Snow shovels are the first to go. Studed snows next.. 5 bucks.

One I'll never forget was back in the 70's. A guy removed the front bumper of his Toyota and replaced it with a doubled 2x? joined with hinges. When it snowed he would flip down the 2x and plow his driveway, lock it back up and off he went. Always wondered how he managed some of our deep snows.

Good Luck
Dave

Ok, your busted. I know for a fact that it never snows in Rome, NY. One winter we sided a house for a national chain and would drive through blizzards all the way (yea, it was uphill both ways). Anyways, whenever we got within a mile of Rome the snow stopped and the sun came out. I think I heard angels in the distance, unconfirmed.

Seriously, it was uncanny. Leave in a snowstorm, drive through snow all the way, get there and work in pleasant weather and drive home through the same crap.

Good Luck
Dave
