Serviced Paslode Butaine Framer, Then Thht...

Just did the clean up, and put it all back together, and nothing... but when I have it apart, and click the trigger or the roller switch the fan cycles... but I reassemble it, and nothing..?

I'm guessing I got some oil in a sensor or switch somewhere..?
Any ideas?..

I'm thinking the troubles with the Paslode Framing Nailer is that switches are extremely susceptible to contaminants...
Maybe if Paslode got their switches from the best of the best they wouldn't have so much trouble, complaints, and refunds...
I recall how Braun devices had a short life because of the econo switches they put in them... They made a good product, but their economizing on switches made their product be crap...

In servicing this nailer I dropped a little oil near the trigger, and near the low-on nails front pin... Is there a switch that oil getting into can cause a failure?..

Hey dudes, I found the fix...

Took me two hours of messing with the nailer, dismantling it and reassembling it...

There's a little micro switch, near the fan, which cycles the fan when you cock the nailer by pushing its nose to the material to be nailed... If the spring and wheel assembly, which triggers that switch gets bent ever so slightly, either way, the gun won't function... Unscrew that trigger with the little roller on it, and straighten it out.. then push an ever so slight downward curve in it, assemble the nailer, and test it...
