Scaffolding, ladder jacks, lifts.... what are my options?

What are my options for a system to use around a townhouse complex. We need to get up about 25' max. Change out rotted rafters and facia boards.

Looking for most safe and efficient way to get up and down.

thanks,

Bruce

For my money, an articulating boom lift is the only way to go. I've used scaffolding, ladders, jacks and I found life (and my nerves) better with this option. I've rented the tow behind variety but you have to place it every time it needs to be moved (PITA) and the 4wd variety, which is my choice now.
I paid about $800 per week, including pu and delivery.

Quick and easy setup wobbly and unnerving, ladder, ladder jacks, walkboard
Little bit slower still wobbly and unnerving, pump jacks and walkboards
Super slow setup but fairly stable, scaffolding
Mac Daddy Rabbit yet can get expensive on a big job , Boom truck aka boom lift

A boom will be well worth the money. Plus less likely to have the possibility of osha violations. Just make sure yer wearing a harness.
