Which Router?

My bosch hinge jig took a walk one day and now i have a 9 door job coming up. Im shopping a new template jig.

Im down to the PC 59381 Template and the Bosch kit. i had the Bosch and it was OK but didnt seem adjustable nough to match some existing jambs. So im looking at the PC model closer.

Ive looked through all the threads i could find comparing the two and of course it will all boil down to my own choice when i get to the store.

My question is this. Is there a prefered router set up for the PC Template? I know by Bosch kit only liked my Bosch router. My router is tired and I may just pick up a new router to dedicatre to the new door kit. Does anyone have a recommendation for the PC kit? Which router are you using?

If you're going to do 9 doors I would use a Templaco hinge template http://www.templaco.com/

Sounds like you use an adjustable one. I have an old Stanley hinge template kit, but never use it. Most of the time I only use one of three size Templaco templates that I have.

PC, but the PC hinge template doesn't really care which one you use.
