Ramset Cobra Or Hilti A41I
I went to an auction a few weeks ago and got some great deals on used tools. 1 of the things I won was a Hilti A41I concrete gun (auto advance). I think these retail for like $600.00 new, probably used for about $250.00 - It's in better than pretty good shape. I bought it for $75.00

Re: Ramset Cobra Or Hilti A41I
I've always been a fan and advocate of Ramset. I use it for all my framing, or shooting anything to steel,concrete,etc.. have 4 of them. Hilti's tools are very good. I have a Hilti hammerdrill and Drywall Screwgun, love em' both.
I guess it depends on you. Which one will serve your business better? and which one will help with production?

Re: Ramset Cobra Or Hilti A41I
I have a buddy who is a Hilti rep. He is always telling me how Hilti has the best internals in their tools(guts). He says that they use high quality metals rather than plastic components that others use. The others will wear out sooner. Hilti has a great reputation for a reason. If you dont want it, I will buy from you. I am looking for one.

Re: Ramset Cobra Or Hilti A41I
I've never been a fan of the hilti- every time I use one it seems to give me trouble. not that it is good quality, but I don't like the way it opperates. personally, I'd prefer the ramset.

Re: Ramset Cobra Or Hilti A41I
We have 3 Simpson Strong-tie guns, 1 hilti and about 3 Ramsets....
.....As long as you take care of them,.....(clean & lube - with carbon cleaner)...they will work for years....
