Re: Porsche Power Tools?
That's a real head scratcher...
I'm sure there is a market for a Porsche tool for those that have everything and want to drill a hole once every 3 years and drill it with a Porsche tool that spends 364.25 days a year looking pretty on the wall of their $30,000 finished 5 car garage. However, Porsche has designed this tool with features that are there to appeal to a more professional user. So what's the market? A high end homeower that will not use any of the professional features or a professional user that will be hauling around and abusing a tool with a Porsche logo? Doesn't really seem to be a fit for either. |

Re: Porsche Power Tools?
I'd be afraid to use it for fear of scratching it up!

I think it's for drilling speed holes (the Simpsons) in your Porsche, it looks like a fancy hammer drill, nothing to revolutionary, maybe it comes with the Porsche owner's attitude (no offense meant to Porsche owners).

I'm not a big Metabo fan anyhow. I'm reasonably sure these are Metabo tools with Porsche skins. As far as European tools go, Metabo is the Ryobi of European tools, in my opinion. Crap. AEG and Hilti are tops in European tools. Bosch is good too, but I'm not so sure you can call them European anymore.

Re: Porsche Power Tools?
I have no idea as to who is trashing the Porsche marque. IMHO, Porsche went sour with the introduction of the water-cooled engine, A/C, cup holders, et al. Sorry, I want a semi-race car and don't give a damn about what Toyota has.

Re: Porsche Power Tools?
Looks uncomfortable to use. Don't care for keyless chucks. Guess I'd have to try it. Don't think I'd trade my hole shooter for it.
