Options For Compressor Air Treatment

Guys,

In order for me to blast soda with my blast pot, i need to have cool, dry air. As you may know that is problem with compressors.

Air Dryers are some what out of the question. The units are heavy, unless you know of some lite weight options?

Most guys are running 2-3 water separators with an aftercooler like this

with a 12v fan on the aftercooler.

Any suggestions? Comments? Brands to stay away?

Rich

Do a google search on "franzinator air dryer". I made one myself and it does a good job of cooling down the hot air coming out of the compressor and condensing the moisture.

Re: Options For Compressor Air Treatment

im not sure if it will work for me.

I have no receiver tank.

I am dealing with alot more volume of air than the average shop compressor.

210 CFM 100 pSI

Do you have any pics of your setup?

DUDE! That's a LOT of air especially without a reciever. What are you using, Hydrovane's?

Impact reducers would be MY first step followed by a reciever. That type of flow is though to deal with.

See what http://www.smcusa.com/ has to offer. They are the largest supplier on the planet.
