One Of My Favorite Tools.

Over the years I've kept a few motion activated, aa powered, hand held, alarms around. I can easily put them in the truck, trailer, toolbox, barn, boat or whatever. Years ago i sent one of the guys over to my house to paint the kitchen door. A few hours later he called from the 7-11 and asked how to shut off the alarm. After thinking for a minute I said the only alarm was in the bedroom closet. He said that was the one. Of course he didn't know it would shut itself off after about a minute.

I though of this because I have a vacant house I'll be working on for the next couple of weeks so there are some tools laying around. I'm going over right now and put a couple of alarms around. At least I'll know if someone breaks in they'll crap their pants before they get anything. I know this because sometimes i forget to turn the alarms off in the morning.

Anyway you should check them out for about $12. There are a coulpe of different brands but i like the ones with the free window stickers. I put the stickers on the rentals.
I usually wrap the alarms in clear plastic because they'll last forever if they don't get dirty.
