New Paslode Cordless Framer
I have yet the cf325 anywhere. Are they still only selling the fuel cells and nails together. Anyone have one yet?

thanks me too, but the new one doesnt use the same fuel and they are selling the fuel cells and nails together so if you want to use the gun they force you to buy nails. |

Re: New Paslode Cordless Framer
Yeah, I agree that was a little low, but I would have to say in my area, most people are using the Roundrive nails anyway... here is my question.....in the extreme cold will that fuel cell still fire all the nails in the box? I know my shot count per cell goes WAY down in the cold due to the pressure in the fuel cell dropping...

Re: New Paslode Cordless Framer
I for one wont buy one if they force me to buy nails. It just never works out that way. I wish they would change their mind b/c I would buy one in second.

Re: New Paslode Cordless Framer
they gave me one for a month mid summer to try out, just when i was getting to like it, it was recalled and they sent the whole shipment back
this gun had so much hype the paslode rep made himself look like a fool instantly, he bet us it would fire as fast as a hitachi strip.... not a chance it does take much less pressure to fire, and its designed to frame in winter.... but for almost a thousand bucks, and the inconvenience of changing nails and fuel, in my opinion its not that much better not good enough to upgrade anyways |

Re: New Paslode Cordless Framer
Have both new paslodes and air, and know which is more reliable, and it has a long hose and makes a lot of noise. Paslodes seem to be like a bad car, misfires and carburettor problems all day long.

Re: New Paslode Cordless Framer
I have one and it works fine. Had to drive 50 miles to buy nails and fuel in box. Got $300 worth so I won't have to go back for a while. 1000 nails per box. Paslode says the fuel cartrige is good for 1200 shots. It's a bit confusing.

Re: New Paslode Cordless Framer
I love the hype that comes with new innovations. Years ago a porter cable rep was trying to sell me on a finish gun that didnt require a battery. It used a fuel cell and a grill sparker. Hand a long nose that had to be pushed in bout 3 inches to engage. It was such a joke. He insisted they were making a spiker that operated in a similar fashion.Never happened thank goodness.
