New DeWalt Tools...
I strongly suspected that DeWalt had somethings up their sleeves...sure enough...
http://www.dewalt.com/us/products/products_new.asp
And it's only April.

Buy them in April... replace them in May. Dewalt are not what they used to be. I don't buy them but everyone I know does.

How well do the nailers hold up from Dewalt?

The only Dewalt pneumatic I've used is the brad nailer, which was ok. Over on another forum their have been mixed reviews about their nailers.

DeWalt works for me.
I have a bunch of dewalt stuff. I haven't managed to break it yet.

18 volt brad nailer? Anyone? Anyone?
Hello Dewalt????????
You already made the hard one to make, the brad nailer should be a piece of cake.

I knew someone with that Dewalt framer. It only shoots one nail at a time. You must release the trigger and press against the wood before it will fire another nail. If you've ever nailed off shear panel, you know that it sucks.
You can order the part though...

I've broken all of it for you, from saws to rotary hammers.
I longer use the brand.

Come on guys...
Dewalt was junk 6 years ago. I wouldn't touch Dewalt with a 10 foot pole, but then, those of us in my city are 10 years ahead of you country folk.
Nobody listens on this forum.
If you want good, you go to Bosch, Hilti, and for cordless, you go Makita.
If you are doing nail guns with a compressor, you only do Senco (Hitachi is good).
Just my opinion...

I own a lot of Dewalt tools, and I've worked with my dad who has a lot of Dewalt tools, so I have a lot of experience with Dewalt tools, and honestly, I can't think of even one bad thing about any one of them. I have never had a Dewalt tool bite the dust, or fail to outperform another tool. My dad has a pair of Dewalt 18 volt drills that he has owned for over 8 years, and not only have they been used daily almost every day of that 8 years, they have also been abused- dropped out of man baskets multipliable times, put in thousands of self drill screws every day for months, running in large timber lock screws, you name it, and not only are both drills still running problem free, but he has only had one battery go bad to the point that it needs to be replaced.

You are right about the country folk. I remember when an old coworker of mine bought EVERYTHING Dewalt because they sponsored Nascar.

DeWalt is going through some things right now...kind of like a teenage kid.
It's lost it's innocence and has entered an unholy marriage with Home Depot in which they've agreed to have their tools made in China (which in and of itself isn't a bad thing), but with a lot more plastic parts which has led their quality to drop dramatically.
Some of their tools continue to be superior (cordless drills, miter saws, table saws, etc...). I'm not used to seeing DeWalt score so blandly in comparison tests.
I'm looking forward to their new tools. They look like their another step up in the evolutionary chain as far as design goes (especially that bulldog/pitbull looking drill), but let's see if they have the quality to back up the look.

The one thing from Dewalt that I always saw get bad reviews was the compressors. However, I have seen nothing but good words about the new 200psi models.

Their produced by Emglo. I have one. Love it. It's deceptively quiet, well thought out, maintenance free and super convenient (I love wheels!).

Their making Home Depot's Husky line.
I bought one as a temporary compressor and it turned out to be great.
Then, while at a hardware store upstate, I saw my compressor only it was blue instead of red and said "Campbell Hausefeld" on it.
