Multiple Air Tools

I am having trouble finding a commercially made 'spider' for splitting one air compressor feed [from a portable] to 2 or 3 air tools on the work site.
Do I have to make one or is there one available to buy?
A 1-to-3 would be great.

Re: Multiple Air Tools

You will probably have to build it. I've never seen rebuilt setups, all I have seen at least require you to thread in your own air fittings.

And then thread your hose connections in using teflon tape.

Re: Multiple Air Tools

I think the last one with 3 holes won't have enough room for the disconnects to be that close together and still operate...probably have to make one.
Time to go into the metal shop and see what's laying around...maybe a 6" length of square or rect. Aluminum.

Re: Multiple Air Tools

We use one like the one TempestV posted. We call it a rocket ship, because with all the fittings on it, it looks like a rocket ship.

Here is what amazon has: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_hi...ifold&x=9&y=24

The ports are angled so it will work fine.

Re: Multiple Air Tools

I get my hoses and fittings from these guys. They've also got stainless nails and staples at really good prices.

I've heard it called a shower head.
For the original poster, if you are worried about space, there is another kind out there that is round, with 4 hose connections around the outside edge.

Re: Multiple Air Tools

You're looking for an air manifold.

Here's an example-

Re: Multiple Air Tools

I never like the tripod manifold. I've seen too many laying on the ground and guys step on them breaking the disconnects off. I have one similar to what Jonm showed except it has three ports. Lays flat on the ground.
