Milwaukee Finish Nailers
I picked up a 16 ga and a 15 ga on sale at amazon last week. The price was right so i figured what the heck. The were about $100 each and they seem to work as well as the porter cables. As far as i can tell they are the same gun as the ridgid, just a different color. I couldn't find any online reviews of them since they are a new gun, so i thought i would throw this out there.

Re: Milwaukee Finish Nailers
I picked up a Milwaukee Framer as per a friend's recommendation, it comes in sometime this week. I bought it for 170, and for that price it's worth it to just have it sit as a backup. I hope it's as good as he says.

15 gauge got great reviews: http://www.amazon.com/review/product...owViewpoints=1 16 gauge was OK: http://www.amazon.com/review/product...owViewpoints=1 There are plenty more reviews online if you look hard enough. I just picked up the crown stapler for $60. Haven't used it yet. |

sure are... and they seem to be some pretty good reviews as well. I have the brad nailer and just ordered the roofing nailer. I love the brad nailer... and I think Milwaukee has more features on their guns than most others because their lineup is fairly new |

Re: Milwaukee Finish Nailers
I was going to buy the brad nailer but the nose piece/safety is behind the barrel. That makes it kinda hard to get into those tight spaces. That's the only reason I didn't get it. I do like that it's oil-free. I don't use my finishing nailers daily so I didn't foresee any issues with oil-less.
I'm curious bcradio, does the brad nailer's trigger lockout when it's out of brads? My current brad nailer does however my 15 ga finish nailer doesn't. Even though there's a small "window" to see when you're getting low on nails, I don't always pay attention and sometimes I start blasting a few empty holes in wood/trim before I realize it's empty. I like having the extra protection of the trigger lockout feature. |

I actually prefer the nose piece behind just because it gives you extreme accuracy on nail placement (this was the main reason for my purchase of this gun since I needed accuracy over being able to get in tight places) |
