Milwaukee Finish Nailer
I've been in the market for a 18 gauge nailer for a little while now, and was wondering if anyone had any feedback on the new Milwaukee (Model 7150-21)
(Sorry you'll have to google it, apparantly I'm not allowed to post a link )I know Milwaukee is fairly new in the pneumatic tool game, and I've had only limited experience with one of their framers. I own several other Milwaukee tools and I'm always impressed with the quality. This will be my first nailer, and I'll be using it at work alongside the boss' fleet of Senco's and a few Bostitch guns. I'll also be using it in the shop for small woodworking projects. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Re: Milwaukee Finish Nailer
I've got the Milwaukee 15 guage angled finish nailer and i like it just fine. I haven't used it much yet. I got a good deal on a demo day and picked it up. So far so good, seems solid and well built. Only thing i don't like is the case. It has room for extra nails, if they are in a Milwaukee box. It's molded for a specific box size, not any open area like the dewalt cases. I would buy another one, the price is right and the quality seems to be there. Happy nailing!

I picked one up today. We shall see how she performs over the weekend. The guys at the tool shop where I bought it said they haven't had any complaints, and the guns have been selling well. Cheers. |

Re: Milwaukee Finish Nailer
Dont guess
lets see if milwaukees are any good. Some oftheir products that i have boughr more recently have been less than trustworthy. i think they may be sending stuff to china or getting stuff from there. buy a hitachi or senco 41xp Proven quality, both are bullet proof |

Re: Milwaukee Finish Nailer
The Milwaukee gun I bought is indeed made oversees (Taiwan). Thats no different than the Senco guns, which are now made in China, or Hitachi which I believe are made in Japan.
In my experience Senco nailers are the cream of the crop, and would buy one in a heartbeat if I had $200+ to spend on a comparable nailer. I do know that the quality of Senco products has dropped considerably since they moved their manufacturing to China. I regularly use 3 different Senco guns that my boss has had for years with no problems. On the other hand, another co-worker just bought 2 new Senco guns and had one break down the very first day using it. I have been nothing short of impressed with most, if not all, of the Milwaukee tools I have used in the past. I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and try out one of their air guns. For what I paid ($129 Canadian) even if it only manages to outlast the 5 year warranty they have on it, it will have paid for itself many times over. |
