Makita 3.0AH Batteries In The Compact Tools
I have a 4 piece lithuim ion set with 3.0 ah batteries and I would like to purchase the BDF452HW compact drill and am wondering if my 3.0 AH batteries are compatable with this drill. I am getting mixed results, home depot says that the compact tools cannot use the 3.0 batteries. Is this true???
Thanks in Advance Dustin |

Re: Makita 3.0AH Batteries In The Compact Tools
Yes the 3.0 batteries will work in the compact tools. The 1.5 batteries will not fit in the 3.0 tools, unless you modify them by filing down part of the plastic tab.
