Laser Level
Looking at getting a level, I don't do excavating, but do a couple foundations a year and am looking for input. Is the self-levelling feature worth the extra coin? How are they in the rain, which we get a lot of here? Brands, prices, issues? Rich.

Re: Laser Level
Rich,
Did you read the posts in Trenching & excavation, "more laser levels" 2/18/06. Most everything listed there would be the same for you. Nick |

Re: Laser Level
If you only do a couple a year, I would look at buying a used one. We use AGL's and they ran about $1,500 when we bought them. You don't need the self-leveler, it only takes 30 seconds to level it.
As far as rain goes, if it rains we'll stick a piece of plywood on top of it and if it rains too hard, we go home.
