Kobalt air hose

Does anyone use the Kobalt air hose that just uses the barb fittings without a hose clamp. I have one of the origional ones with the black fittings, and it works great. I just picked up a second but its newer style with brass fittings and the ****ing fittings keep blowing off. Anyone else have this problem or is it just a defective cord? What is a good rubber 50' air hose?

I use black rubber ones made by Goodyear, I get them off the Matco truck.

I use the same hose from Home Depot. Its a Ridgid, but it's identical to the Kobalt with the black fittings. Never had a problem with it. They still sell the black fittings at the Home Depot.

....I got that brass kobalt hose...and yeah, the fittings keep leaking... I think I am going to try Flexzilla air hoses next. I have tried PVC, Rubber and Poly....all suck if you ask me. PVC is too stiff, Rubber is heavy and gets dirty, poly has WAY too much memory and sticks to itself. My brother found a hose called Flexzilla at Tractor Supply a few months ago. he got it in 3/8" b/c he works on cars. I have been playing with it and it is super light, very flexable and has NO memory. I just noticed they produce it in 1/4" as well. I am going to get one...

Senco or makita

I use 1/4 " makita or senco the shake out nice and flat. No marking up painted walls either. About $40.00.

Noticed home depot finally had a good looking 1/4 " --Haven't tried it yet.
