Re: Insulation Blower

talk to the manager of your local rental shop, he might give you the contact numbers of the rep for the brand they rent out, or try a big insulation company ask for the person responsible for purchasing tools

Re: Insulation Blower

I wouldn't waste money actually purchasing one. If you purchase your supplies (or at least enough of it) from Home Depot or Lowes, they will lend it to you for free. Let the cost of maintaining the machines be on them...

At Lowe's, you purchase 20 bags, blower rental is free.
If you don;t need all 20 bags, talk to the manager, he will at times allow you to take it anyhow, depends on how good of a custmer you are and the manager himself.
If you don;t need all 20 bags, a day or so after you return the machine return the unused bags of insulation for a refund. This is what I was told by manager at the contractor's desk last time I bought insulation & got the free blower, about a month ago. He claims it is done all the time. Personally if I am going to do this job, I sure will use all 20 bags instead of not. 20 bags does about 1000 sq ft @ 3 inches thick about R-11 <~~ just an approx guess to offer and idea of coverage for the required amount for free rental, read bag for details.. hahaha
20 bags was approx $212.00, free blower rental, good deal to me..

Correction, at any Lowes you can buy 10 bags and get the machine for free. Either way the machine is free as long as you don't tear it up!!!

If you are a contractor, talk to them and they would and should just let you rent it whenever for no deposit!!!
