Hitachi reconditioned tools???

Have any of you guys purchased hitachi reconditioned tools from the hitachi website, also known as "preowned?" If so, how have the tools held up?

They're good as new. Most of the times they are simply store returns that they can't sell as new anymore.

I bought a re-conditioned Ryobi.
I had planned on buying as a throw away for one large job. That was about 10 years ago...still using the saw.
