Hitachi Miter Clearance

Just so you know, i just bought a hitachi 10" sliding miter for 343 bucks. Lowes is clearing them out (which probably mean hitachi is switching their 10" to the Chinese made version). It wasn't marked at the lower price but when i asked a kid to look up the price for me they rang in at 383 bucks. I bought the floor model which made it 343. Good deal on the last Japanese made miter saws. I own a 12" Chinese made hitachi and they are not nearly as precise of a machine as the old 10" version.

I've got a Hitachi C12LDH. You know, when there's a label on the sub fence saying to move it out of the way when doing a bevel cut- they're not kidding. It was a classic DOH! moment. I'll say that Hitachi's 90 tooth blade cuts through aluminum like butter.
