Hitachi Finish Nailers NT65MA3 Vs NT65MA2

Could someone please tell me the difference between the two finish nailers above? They appear to have the same specs yet their prices and looks differ. I am looking for a finish nailer and I believe these both have good reviews from others. Just wondering what the differences are between the two.

Also, any other brands I should be looking at?

The MA3 just seems to be the updated flashy version, the MA2 is part of their traditional looking lineup. Sort of a Mustang LX and a Mustang GT. I've had great luck with Senco's 15 gauge finish nailer. You can get the three gun set from HD for $199, but if you wait until after Christmas I have a hunch it'll be down to around $125 like it was last year.

Thanks for the info. I will be waiting till after Christmas to checkout the Senco kit. I have an SCN65 right now and like it.

Im looking at getting one or the other myself. looks like the newer one has a better tip on it. I wonder if the older one is gentile on the nailing surface when nailing.
