Hilti Combo

After the thief got my 18v circular and a few 14v screw gund, I just have my one lone 18v hammer / driver and only the one battery. Basically I need to get into another setup. I can go the DeWalt route again, I had pretty good luck with it...my saw worked like a champ. Anyhow, I am debating Milwaukie - Makita - Hilti. I understand the cost is far more for the Hilti...but one gets what he pays for I guess, I just don't know if there is a combo that Hilti puts out, and is it really worth the money for a drill and a saw....

neee one know?
Thx

Re: Hilti Combo

They have a drill/ hammerdrill/sawzall/light combo for $699.00, the circular saw is like $399.00 with a free carry bag. I like my new Makita set up, hammer drill/impact/sawzall/circ $499.00.

Yeah, but the hammerdrill and sawzall are 24 volt with the Hilti combo set, and the drill is a 15.7 volt.

Are you talking about the set that the depot carries? I like the feel and design of the hammer drill, the sawzall looks awkard. Been thinking about getting their impact driver for myself, I think it's 14volt.

I don't know what Home Despair carries, I don't buy anything from there. I have the 18 volt cordless hammerdrill, which I like a lot, I do not like the cordless saw, but one of our other guys has one and swears by it.

Re: Hilti Combo

Yeah, I don't like cordless sawzalls. For my simple uses I do like the cordless circulars...

But 700 for a saw I probably won't use much - a light that I think is just lame to own, when I have many drop lights and my beater (5D-mag) that is one expensive hammer / driver.

hmmmmm (get what cha pay for... get what cha pay for.....get what cha pay for)

Santa may come early for this daddy.

Does anyone else get coal in their stocking? Santa's note, year after year keeps telling me I have a bad mouth...or some F-ing chit like that.
