Re: Good Tool Websites

I buy my tools from an actual tool supplier, it eliminates issues down the line and I know where I can get it serviced. With the service I have received from Hilti I will probably switch all my power tools to them as they need replacement.

I second that. Not saying that I occassionally don't buy something online or catalogue, but I find that I can usually meet or sometimes beat the online price from my local supplier, and know that if there is a problem with the tool, I am recognized as a regular customer, and they care about resolving my issue. Plus, when I am looking for advise on a new purchase or trying to locate some oddball widget gizmo, they don't mind putting out some extra effort. For me, the service and convenience of a local shop, are worth a couple of dollars with no problem.

I have bought a couple things from Seven Corners over the years, and I remember that their prices were usually extremely good.

Re: Good Tool Websites

I used to live near St Paul so I'm very familiar with 7 Corners hardware. Their online site has about anything you could ask for and their retail store is like a toy store for big kids. If you order there be confident that there are real people there who actually know what they're talking about. I literally used to have to leave my wallet in the truck so I didn't buy stuff there. If you ever get to St Paul check it out, its a very cool store.
