Generic Paslode Battery

So I picked up a few of these for $18 each a few months ago.

Batteries

EXTENDED Battery for Paslode Impulse 404717 6V 2600MAH

New battery replacements for Paslode 404717
This battery stick is new factory sealed, and fresh off the press not surplus or expired. It comes with a 1 year warranty. 2600 Mah 6V NiMh. No memory effect, longest runtime
WORKS WITH PASLODE 900420 Cordless Framing Nailer 900600 Cordless Angled Nailer 902000 Cordless Straight Finish Nailer 901000 Cordless Brad Nailer

I've used often since then. I keep getting misfires w/ this when using my finish nailer, but it works great in the framer. Do you guys think this could be from the higher capacity battery or just from the generic version?

If it turns out to be caused by the higher capasity, they also have standard replacements for a few dollars less and I wouldn't mind picking up a pair.

Am I missing something? The voltage is the same as a factory battery at 6.

Not that this is the same..........

But store bought Rechargeable Batteries for Electronics, AA, AAA, C, D are all 1.2 VDC. Where as Alkaline Non-Rechargeables are 1.5 VDC.

IS there a difference??? Not in many cases, but in devices like CD players and Camera Flashes, HELL YES!

The Flash takes Longer to Recharge and the CD player sounds less clear!

Output Voltage will hamper performance of MANY devices, but maybe not as apparently as one might think!
