Generator Advice

Hey guys..... Looking for some advice here.... I have an opportunity to pick up this generator http://www.peakpowertools.com/Produc...1&Show=ExtInfo locally (new in box) for a good deal ($1349 cad) They retail here for about $1849.

I need something to run my tools ( compressor, miter saw, table saw ) but, not all at the same time.

I am on a site now where my Makita compressor (mac5200) is continually popping breakers. I also would like to eventually mount the generator to an exterior compartment on my trailer to run power to it. What are your thoughts on this model. Thanks for your input.

Cheers

I have one just like it.....bought it at Sam's Club last year for $900. No problems...we use it to run our insulation machine, and occasional job site work. The main point is the Honda motor...service it regularly, and it will run nearly forever.

The 7500 continuous watts is a nice feature.

At 120 volts, that's 62.5 amps.

At 240 volts, that's 31.25 amps.

I'd say you're good to go.
