yup.....I got my rack from a painter who switched to a van. The Bosch Table saw off a widow and my side boxes from a 16 or 17 year old who had them on his ranger. I try to pick out the ads that seem to be listing stolen good and avoid them.

Got some good scores on CL as well.
This year got two good deals so far.
9 box's of name brand 1.25in coil nails for $100, even took a business check!
and
Like new leather power heated seats out of a Lariat Super Duty for $216. These same seats would sell all day long on Ebay for $850 plus shipping.
Both deals were found within half an hours drive.
The one deal that got by me though was this,
2004 14ft 14 yard dump trailer in good condition, $3,000. Called the seller an hour after the listing and it had been sold already. By the sellers location figured it was some rich dude who didn't want the trailer anymore.
The best deals out there though in my area are when the native americans sell there toys. $80K a month cash and when something brakes are they get sick of it they sell it for pennies on the dollar. Most people fix things on cars when they brake, they buy a new one and almost give away the old one!
Even found a great renter from CL and have talked to several other landlords who only advertise on CL with good luck. You have to have an internet connection to look on CL so you can't be totaly broke!

Hammond A-100 plus Leslie 147 $1500

I score all the time on Craigslist, $80 for a 1/2 hour, $120 for a full hour. I usually just go for the 1/2 hour, then after we do the deed I make her spend the left over 28 minutes cleaning paint brushes or doing dishes.

Just got me one of these for $25. Pretty nice saw, up front controls, dual bevel, motor is over the top and belt driven....didn't want to lug the 12" SMS around. This one is like 30 lbs or something.
