Fiberglass Ext Ladder DEAL

I went to my Local Ladder store last week to get a 24ft aluminum Extention ladder type II priced at about $135 and the weird guy was like well do you need alum cause we got a skid buyout of fiberglass ones just recent. I said well what is the specs. Found out that alum was 33lbs and fiber was only 12lbs heaver at 45lbs. So we walked out to em and I picked one up to test the weight and there was no difference(i'm 29yrs and fit) I told him im just a painter and he told me the price $130 What! (thought about 1 min) and I changed my mind thinkin bout all the good things in life that could be Poofed gone like the dust if I was putting up an Alum ladder and touched wires.
So i got a 24ft werner Type II fiberglass ladder. End

Sorry just had to vent since these are the sweet deals in life, just happened to be at the right place at the right time-
they prob be sold out fast I didnt expect to get one this cheap so I crossed them(fiberglass) off my list

Robert

At that price, I might have had a exercise a credit card and buy the whole pallet. Set up a little stand on the corner and sell ear corn, cantaloups, and fiberglass extension ladders from the tailgate of your truck.

But if you do take Shunk's advice, do yourself a favor and take a roll in the dirt and toss some sawdust in the hair before you go home. You don't want your wife thinking you didn't go to work on that day.
