Are Drill Chucks Right Hand Thread Or Left Hand?

Hey guys I got a quick question. I just picked up a new chuck for my makita corded hammer drill with no instructions. The old chuck is keyless and in the parts scematic its threaded on. I was just curious if any one knows if its a left hand thread or right hand thread? This could be a stupid question , but I've never replaced one before.

Mostly Left Hand but some have a set screw or a center screw to hold it in place. You may have find a way to hold the armature or block the shaft from turning so you can break it free. Good luck.
